Every award at a MASC event is given by someone with no reason to be generous.
Player of the Game
After every pool game, each coach names a Player of the Game from the other team. Not from his own roster. From yours.
Three pool games means three chances, and every team gives three awards and receives three.
Winners get a patch on the spot and their name published after the event.

Saturday night, each coach looks at the three players he named all weekend and nominates the best one.
That's the All Tournament Team. One player per team, announced Sunday morning with photos.
Nobody nominates their own player. Every name on that list was chosen by an opponent
Championship MVP
After each championship game, the losing coach names the MVP from the winning team.
It's the last award of the weekend and the hardest one to give. That's the point.
