How the League Works

Competitive Scrimmages. Simplified Scheduling. Local Exposure.

The Mid-Atlantic Softball Circuit (MASC) eliminates the stress of finding balanced scrimmages. No more chasing down teams, sending endless texts, or playing games that don’t match your team’s level. MASC handles the scheduling—you just show up and compete.

How It Works

Skill-Based Matchups
Teams are placed into divisions—Premier or Gold—to ensure all scrimmages are competitive, development-focused, and age-appropriate.

Play as Much or as Little as You Want
Whether you’re looking to fill every weekend or just a few select dates, MASC is built to work around your team’s availability. You decide how often you want to play—we’ll build your schedule accordingly with weekend doubleheaders or weekday games when needed.

Seasonal Flexibility
Teams can register for the Fall, Spring, or both seasons. There’s also optional Summer registration for 16U and 18U teams. No long-term commitment—just quality games when you want them.

Built-In Development Opportunities

  • 12U and 14U teams compete in end-of-spring tournament-style events, giving players a chance to finish the season with bracket-style competition.

  • All teams can participate in Fall Exposure Camps, offering early, affordable recruiting opportunities.

  • 16U and 18U teams receive discounted access to our Fall Showcase Event, exclusively for MASC participants.

Balanced Hosting Model
Every team will host at least one home doubleheader per season. You provide the field and coordinate umpires—MASC takes care of scheduling and communication. Plate fees are split evenly between both teams.
